With a retro upgrade kit you can convert your Lewmar® EVO or OCEAN sheet winch into an electric winch to enable complete hands free operation with a simple push of a button, allowing for easy and relaxed trimming when day sailing, cruising or short handed long distance sailing.
The Lewmar® range of electric winches are designed to recover slack sheets with low loads quickly then slow down for accurate trimming as sail loads increase. For back up, manual hand winching remains a standard function of all winches.
The EVO® self-tailing winch range is available as a complete package or as an upgrade retro fit in a number of finishes in sizes 40 and above. For additional Lewmar® winch sizes and models suitable for electric conversion please contact your nearest yacht rigger, boating store or BLA Territory Manager. Winches listed below are for 12 volt systems only, however 24 volt kits are available upon request.
